    Me he enfrentado a este problema varias veces.
    Estoy corriendo XE en openSUSE y en un principio mi nombre de host ha dígitos y guiones en el nombre.
    Y si lo cambio (/etc/HOSTNAME) a algunos de los nombres simples ANTES 11g XE instalar la configuración se completa con éxito.

    No sé cómo hostname afectar en la instalación de oracle, pero el método anterior funciona para mí como un encanto.
